Luanna Lima

Luanna Lima writes about what remains: people, places, loves, memories, and all the possibilities that exist between what happened and what could have happened.

An author of novels and short stories, she began publishing at a young age and has since developed a body of work marked by the intimacy and sensitivity of human relationships. In her stories, reality and imagination walk hand in hand; sometimes to preserve a memory, sometimes to create a different fate for it.

People continue to exist in our memories, places carry what happened within them, and feelings find new ways to survive through writing. At the same time, her imagination makes room for what could have been. Other paths, other endings, other universes — but the feelings remain those of love, emotion, and understanding

It is from this meeting place between memory and longing that the Luniverse is born.

Luanna currently lives in Canada and continues to write, publish, and create new stories. Above all, her work is an attempt to preserve what deserves to be remembered and give shape to what still lives in the imagination.
